AI for Social Justice Groups

Prompting Skills Workshop & Developments for Campaigners

This session was recorded in 2025.

Want to refine your use of ChatGPT and other Large Language Models like Gemini for effective text and image generation, text summarisation and research?

In this 2 hour session we’ll cover:

  • Guidelines, movement-based examples, and tips and tricks on effective prompting techniques
  • How to use prompting to generate messages with the right tone, refine your framing techniques and more accurately target your audience
  • How to build a custom GPT specialized for your organization, and use cases for it in social justice work. Custom GPTs are easy to set up and can get you close to the results you’ll get from some expensive A.I. tools being promoted these days
  • ChatGPT’s powerful data analysis and code-generation capabilities for groups that use spreadsheets and data
  • Developments in video editing, captioning and dubbing. Tool recommendations that can save us significant time and make editing accessible to anyone, and dramatically expand language access
